the day after yesterday

An artistic research project with Utopia Syndicate, a theatre collective initiated by Madison and Tery Žeželj in October 2021.

Since its founding, Utopia Syndicate has been using the new-hope dramaturgical procedures established in Madison's thesis to foster hope and speculate on utopia.

Summer Residency @ Het Huis

In this week we grappled with questions around negative hope (it is easier to hope for a world without sexism than to imagine what could replace it). We also played with visceral creation and destruction processes and made huge discoveries around procedures that are essential to the practice.
